1. Kick-off Sep. 8

Ok, ok… We made up a holiday. In our defense, there’s an International ‘Talk like a Pirate’ Day, so I’d say ours at least sounds more legitimate. We just wanted to get your attention and invite you to our church. Summer is over and as much as it pains us to say it, the old routines are about to begin again. If you have kids, they are heading back to school, if you had vacation time, you don't anymore, if you have a tan, well… you get the picture. Here at Emmanuel we believe that the truth of the gospel changes everything. Not just on Sunday mornings, but in the normal day to day life of every person. We’ll save you a seat.

2. Community

At Emmanuel it is part of our mission to help our people to cultivate vibrant relationships - both with God and with each other. This is a vital component of helping people along the Boston to Providence corridor flourish. We have new Discipleship Classes starting on Sept. 16, 17, & 18, and if you want to learn more about faith in Christ, how to pray, or how the gospel can impact your work, you should check one of these out. We also have groups that meet together to study the Bible and care for one another. Our groups kick off again in October, but we figured it was ok to let you know about them now.

3. Students Sept. 8

Our NextGen Team has put together a Youth Group Block Party for the Kickoff as well. Sunday Sept. 8, if you have a Middle School or High School Student (Or if you are one!) they won’t want to miss this event. We have a food truck coming from Boston’s Baddest Burgers, games, and, hopefully, some fun. This is a low pressure way to see if we’re normal human beings. (We are?)
